Day 4
- Monday 13th August 2012
White
Cliffs to Broken Hill
Distance traveled 354kms, 290kms on good dirt roads.
After
a cool night we woke early and decided
to head out for a walk. It was 7am and
4° we walked and watched the sunrise.
Then it was packing and getting breakfast. We left just before 9am and we were on dirt
from almost the moment we left. The
roads were good most the way. We saw
lots of Emu's, Sheep, and some wild goats.
We pulled into Mutawintji National Park for morning tea and to
stretch. We found a friendly Emu and a
dry creek bed. We turned left and pushed
on into Broken Hill for lunch. It was
2pm when we arrived. We set camp had
lunch then went shopping and visited the Big Chair at the Load of Line. Back at camp we washed, showered and enjoyed
a quiet night.
About to hit Dirt :)
Very Flat.
