We were invited back to the Smiths for a BBQ breakfast so we
woke showered packed as much as we could as the camper was wet and headed over
about 9am. We had a slow fun morning
eating bacon and egg rolls and mystery pizzas, enjoying everyone’s company and sitting
in the sun. About 11am we decided to
head back to the trailer pack it away dry and turn our nose home. We were rolling out of orange right on
12.15pm. We made a very quick fuel stop in Bathurst and push on. I was getting tired heading for Lithgow so we
pulled in next to Lake Wilson for a cuppa and a stretch. Its one of those places you always see and
say I must stop there so we did. We only
stopped for a short while then we pushed on home. We were having a great run all the way till
we made it to Stanmore where we hit gridlock.
We were under 10kms from home and the next part took us 1hour. We pulled into the drive at 5.15pm and the
unpacking began.
