The finishing touches,

Since leaving Sydney and arriving on the Sunshine Coast we have been putting the finishing touches onto the car and trailer. This included unpacking and repacking a number of times both car and trailer. Fitting and wiring up the pump for the water tank (add in drilling through James's finger), adding more sealing to the tub on the passengers side, fitting a new jockey wheel after ours made a tremendous effort and fell off. It decided to snap off on our first night in Qld in the rain of course. We have fitted a far more suitable wheel. James & Neil built a rear shelf to carry our tent in the top of the canopy. We have fitted the hoses for the twine to the bull bar and today Dad helped me fit the bracket for our new awning. A few weeks ago I decided to do a quick search on awnings on Gum Tree. I found one for a very good price that had been mounted but never used. It was the exact size we wanted and it almost exactly matches the one we already have. I emailed and then called the seller straight away and again Dad to the rescue he collected it for us as we flew to Sydney the next day. With 10 sleeps to go until we leave I'm starting to make lists and sort through our things. The time is going to fly past.
